PortAventura amusement park

Which amusement park is the most famous in the world, which almost all children of the nineties dream of getting into? Disneyland, of course!

However, this article is not about him. We want to tell you about its Spanish counterpart called PortAventura.

However, the word analog does not quite fit, because Port Aventura is in no way inferior in scale to its French brother.

Located in Spain near Barcelona, the park spreads over 117 hectares and is a mini-city divided into 6 thematic zones.

A few numbers:
1955 - the year of foundation
40 attractions are located in the park
over 3 million tourists from all over the world per year
3 hectares - the area of the lake in the park
90 performances a day take place in the streets and theaters of the complex
45 euros - the cost of a ticket for the whole day, for any attractions, or you can buy an express ticket to go everywhere without queuing

Now a little about the zones into which PortAventura is divided. There are six of them in total and they are divided geographically:

1. Mediterranean
This is the first fabulous location that welcomes PortAventura visitors. Everything here is stylized as a cozy Mediterranean fishing village. Most of the souvenir shops, shops, restaurants and cafes are concentrated here.

2. Wild West

3.Mexico
Here you can find typical Mexican flora, ruins and Mayan pyramids.

4.China
China is a vibrant area designed in the style of imperial China with all the delights and attributes of Chinatown.

5. Polynesia
Polynesia takes you to the tropical jungle region with its unusual plants and incendiary shows from everywhere you can hear drumming and screams from neighboring extreme attractions.

6. Sesame

This is the children's part of the entertainment workshop, everything here is decorated in the style of the once popular educational children's TV show "Sesame Street"

In addition to the entertainment areas, it is worth mentioning the huge Port Avetura Aquatitk water park, several beach clubs, golf courses, and four hotels.

Bottom line, if you are planning a vacation in Spain, then PortAventura is a must visit. Below are some photos to help you make the right decision!
